The Shepherdess´s Cottage was built for the 1967
EXPO - World Exhibition in Montreal where
it served as the Czech restaurant. After the
exhibition closed, the structure was disassembled,
transported over the ocean and rebuilt approximately
2 kilometers away from
St. Wenceslas Square in Prague´s Nusle district.
